May 28, 2000 Dear Sisters and Brothers: You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on Friday, May 28th at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting and transacting any business that may legally come before the Chapter. Sister Officers may wear colored gowns. Entertainment - Master Masons will be honored with the exemplification of the Petticoat Lodge degree. Collation will be provided by Sisters Stacy M. Desrosiers and Sherry M. Jackson and Brother John W. Jackson. Honors - Pilgrim Chapter was honored to have Sister Phyllis A. Lackie, PM serve as Marshal and Sister Ruth J. Holmes, PM, serve as Ruth at the recent Visitation of Puritan-Charity-Themis-Atlantic Chapter #29 in Milford recently. Thinking of You - Sister Ruth E. Parker recently underwent some tests, but is now at home. Sister Lillian F. Brown is now at the Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson and Sister Madeline (Betty) Denault is at The Courville in Nashua. Brother Charles R. Harris, PP, has moved to the Masonic Home at 813 Beech Street, Manchester, NH 03104-3100. Sympathy of the Chapter is extended Sister Sandra G. Dudley, PM on the loss of her mother. Pink Lady Degree - Pilgrim Chapter will be presenting the 'Pink Lady" degree for Rising Sun Lodge on Wednesday, May l7th. Contact the Worthy Matron if you would like to participate or need additional information. Old Fashioned Degree - The Past Matrons and Past Patrons of Pilgrim Chapter will be performing the Old Fashioned Degree on Tuesday. May 16th at Warren Chapter #10 in Wolfeboro. Always thinking first of others, giving others cheer Always watching, always trusting, all through every year. Always thoughtful, always helpful, sacrificing too. Always caring, always sharing, that's what mothers do. Suppers - We have one supper to prepare and serve on Tuesday, May 30,n. If you can help, even for a few hours, please contact Sister Jean C. Sudsbury, PM. Breakfast - The Pledge Group of Nashua Assembly No. 9, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, serves a breakfast at the Temple from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m. on the third Sunday of each month. The next breakfast will be held on May 21st. The cost is $4.00, and everyone is invited. Rainbow Pledge Group meets the first Thursday of the month, with the next meeting scheduled for June 1 st. Nashua Assembly No. 9, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls - Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. The next meetings will be May 18th and June lst. Indoor Yard Sale - Nashua Assembly #9 will be having an Indoor Yard Sale at the First Baptist Church, 121 Manchester Street in Nashua on Saturday, June 3rd from 9am to 2pm. Items can be dropped off at the Church on Friday, June 2nd at 6pm. If you have any questions or need more information, contact our Sister Leslee E. Steele at 429-6371. Proceeds from this yard sale will be used to benefit our Sister Bethany Maynard, GWA and other Nashua Assembly #9 members to attend Rainbow Supreme Assembly to be held in July 2000. Beverage Tabs continue to be collected by Nashua Assembly for donation to the Shriners' Hospitals. This-includes tabs from soda, beer, juice, etc., cans. David's House - Your Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron are still collecting paper goods for David's House. Please bring your contributions to any meeting. Coming Events From the East
