Pilgrim Chapter No. 55 Order of the Eastern Star Include List

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on Friday, April 28th, at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting and transacting any business that may legally come before the Chapter. Sister Officers may wear colored gowns.

Past Matron & Past Patron Night - All Past Matrons and Past Patrons of Pilgrim Chapter will be honored this evening.

Milestone Membership Pins will be presented to those who have attained 70, 50 and 25 years in the Order of the Eastern Star. Those eligible to receive recognition are:

      50 Years Mary M. Buxton, Helen M. Coronis, P.M., Virginia W. Davis, Mildred E. Kirkwood, and Pauline B. Lawrence

      25 Years Lillian A. Chapman, Mai Guthrie, Marilyn McCubrey, Philip YV. McCubrey, Constance M. Pratt, and V. Irene Prevost, P.M.

Collation will be provided by Sisters Ruth and Edith Holmes.

Thinking of You - Sister Jeannette L. Healey, P.M., is recuperating at her daughters home in Londonderry following a recent hospital stay. Brother Charles R. Harris, P.P., is home after a trip to the hospital. Sister Doris M. Hall is recovering from a broken hip at Hunt Community. Brother Albert C. Dudley P.P., is much improved following a recent illness. Sister Christine A. (Tina) Page, who was hospitalized in February, is now at her new home. She and Sister Beverly Spaulding are no longer at Meredith Brick Manor; their new address is c/o Walter Spaulding, 1487 Old No. Main St., Laconia, NH 03246-2684.

Sympathy - The sympathy of the Chapter is extended to Sister Martha A. Spaulding on the loss of her brother; Sister Anne M. Senter, P.M., on the loss of her mother and Sister Ruth S. Bent on the loss of her sister.

Suppers - We have many suppers to prepare and serve over the next few weeks. If you can help on any of them, even for a few hours, please contact Jean Sudsbury, PM. The upcoming dates are April 13th, April 20th", April 27th and May 7

Breakfast - The Pledge Group of Nashua Assembly No. 9, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, serves a breakfast at the Temple from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m. on the third Sunday of each month. The next breakfast will be held on April 16 The cost is $4.00, and everyone is invited. Rainbow Pledge Group meets the first Thursday of the month, with the next meeting scheduled for May 4 .

Nashua Assembly No. 9, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. The next meetings will be April 20th and May 4th. The girls held a special program on March 18, initiating nine Masonic grandfathers into their order. At the event, a new Christian Flag was presented and dedicated to Brother Roger M. Spooner, Past Master of Rising Sun Lodge #39. Our Worthy Patron Brian J. Smith, P.P. gave the tribute, and Jillian K. Maynard, Roger's Rainbow granddaughter, and daughter of our Sister Linda A. Maynard, carried the flag.

Beverage Tabs continue to be collected by Nashua Assembly for donation to the Shriners' Hospitals. This includes tabs from soda, beer, juice, etc., cans.

David's House - Your Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron are still collecting paper goods for David's House -Please bring your contributions to any meeting.
