In Memoriam:
Brother Clifford S. Spencer
Initiated October 28, 1949
Passed on July 13, 2003
There are stars that go out in the darkness, whose silvery light shineth on;
There are roses whose perfume lingers, when the flowers are faded and gone;
There are hearts full of love and sweetness, whose life current no longer flows;
Still their goodness lives on with the living, like the soul of the star and the rose.

Sympathy- Is extended to Sister Edythe Spencer on the death of her husband; to Brother Max I. Silber on the death of his son; to Brother Charles R. Harris, Jr., P.P., on the death of his sister; to Sister Beverly F. Burleigh, P.M., on the death of her brother; and to Sister Marjorie H. O'Neal on the death of her brother.

Thinking of You- Get well wishes are extended to Sister Patricia W. Hills, P.G.M., who has been hospitalized over the summer and is now at the Greenbriar Rehabilitation Unit. Brother H. "Van" Vliet is now home after a brief few days in the hospital. Also we wish Sister Pamela G. Williams, P.M., well in her recovery from foot surgery; and Sister V. Irene Prevost, P.M., on her recovery from eye surgery.

Congratulations- We are so proud of Sister Shelley M. Gullett who received the Loyalty Day Service Award from VFW Post 483 and the Ladies Auxiliary last May for all her hard work in the community!

Learning Center- Is looking for volunteers this fall. Please see Sister Lisa if you are able to volunteer for this wonderful cause. Continue to collect the following: pencils, pencil grips, pencil erasers, dry erase markers, scotch tape, or pens, and bring them with you to our next meeting. From the East-
Welcome back from your summer! Brother Ray and I hope you enjoyed every minute and are now ready to resume the work of our beautiful Order. As my father and I prepare to part with our charge of Pilgrim Chapter, we wish to thank everyone who has supported us and prayed for us. How special this year has been for my dad and me to be together, how great the gift of memories you have given us, and what a delight it has been to serve you and our lovely Order! To Sister Stacy and Brother John may your term be just what you hope it will be and more. Best wishes to you and your officers. May our Chapter and our Order continue to be blessed!

It was nice to be the Matron, with a gavel in my hand,
And at my side a Patron, on whom I could depend.
But now the year is over, we have had a lot of fun.
Past Officers, move over...
Here we come-our work is done!

With fraternal love
