You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on Friday, September 22, 2000, at 7:30 pm. for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting and transacting any business that may legally come before the Chapter. Sister officers may wear colored gowns. This will be our Annual Meeting with the reading of the various annual reports and holding Election of Officers for the 2000 - 2001 term.

Homecoming Supper at 6:15 p.m. Please join us as we come back together after the summer break. Bring your favorite dish for others to share. Please call the Secretary to let her know what you will bring.

Collation will be provided by Sister Ruth J. Holmes, P.M,

Rob Morris Awards have been earned by Brother Larry D. Gullet and Sisters Joan L. Smith and Lisa J. Markarian, P.M., for attaining 300 points for petitions. Congratulations!

Chapter News - Sister Helen E. Fitz is now residing at the Hunt Community. Sister JoAnn Vickery was married to Robert Lister on February 12, 2000. Brother Herbert H. Hutchinson was recently installed as Grand High Priest of the Grand Chapter R.A.M. of the State of New Hampshire.

Thinking of You - Sister Olive E. Bragdon, Brothers Andrew Britko and Raymond M. Flynn all had short stays in the hospital this summer and are back home. Brother Robert G. Pollock, P.P., who was in the hospital, has recently been transferred to Greenbriar Health Care. Your cards, thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.

Congratulations to Sister Bonnie L. Spooner, Worthy Matron, who has been appointed as the new Grand Representative of Virginia in New Hampshire and Sister Ruth J. Holmes, P.M., who has been appointed Grand Representative of British Columbia and the Yukon in New Hampshire. Both appointments are most appropriate. Sister Bonnie's sister-in-law (our late Brother Roger Spoone(s sister Bonnie) is a new member in Virginia, while the Worthy Grand Matron of British Columbia and the Yukon is a cousin of Sister Ruth's mother, our Sister Edith Holmes.

NH Grand Chapter - Pilgrim Chapter members were honored guests at the "Spirit of America" session of New Hampshire Grand Chapter August 17th - 19th, 2000. We had reserved seating for the entire session in recognition of our Chapter initiating the most new members - 21 total for the year. At the Installation on Saturday evening, Sister Trudy A. Marshall, P.M., was installed as Grand Esther and Sister Susan 1. Douglas, P.M., was appointed Deputy Grand Marshal. Our Worthy Matron, Sister Bonnie L. Spooner, served as Personal Grand Page to Grand Electa. All three of our Grand Representatives - Brother Gilbert P. Bemis, P.P., Sister Bonnie L. Spooner, W.M., and Sister Ruth J. Holmes, P.M., were presented during the formal opening of the session.

Committees - Anyone interested in serving on a committee for 2001-2002 should let Sister Ellie Morrill know. These committees include Visiting, Mitten, Hospital, and Masonic Home.

Suppers - September 18. If you can assist, please call Sister Jean at 6031882- 1088.

Breakfast - The Pledge Group of Nashua Assembly No. 9, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, serves a breakfast at the Temple from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m. on the third Sunday of each month. The next breakfast will be held on September 17th". The cost is $4.00, and everyone is invited.

Rainbow Pledge Group meets the first Thursday of the month, with the next meeting scheduled for October 5th.

Nashua Assembly No. 9, International Order of the Rainbow for Gids. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. The next meetings will be September 21" and October 5th . At their recent NH Grand Assembly held this summer, Nashua Assembly has the honor to have three appointed Grand Officers - Karly Stanley, Grand Recorder; Tracey Smith, daughter of our Sister Joan L. and Brother Brian J. Smith, P.P., Grand Love-, and Jillian Maynard, daughter of our Sister Linda A. Maynard and sister of our Sister Bethany L. Maynard, Grand Immortality.

Beverage Tabs continue to be collected by Nashua Assembly for donation to the Shriners' Hospitals. This includes tabs from soda, beer, juice, etc., cans.
