Dear Sisters and Brothers: You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on Friday, October 27, 2000, at 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting and transacting any business that may legally come before the Chapter. Sister officers may wear colored gowns for the early meeting only; white gowns must be worn for Installation.
Installation Banquet at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $7.50, and paid reservations should be made to the Secretary by October 20th. Collation will be under the chairmanship of Sisters Joan L. Smith and Lisa F. Britko. Rehearsal for Installation will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2000. All outgoing and incoming officers are requested to attend. Sister Olive E. Bragdon is ill at her home. Brother Stephen Kolesnik is now out and about following shoulder surgery. Congratulations to Sister Natalia Starosselskaia who was married this summer in Russia to Alexander Bairamov and to Sister Susan I. Douglas, P.M., who served as Installing Chaplain at the recent installation of Puritan-Charity-Themis-Atlantic Chapter #29 in Milford. Suppers are currently scheduled for October 10, 16, 17, 19, 23, 25 and 26. If you can assist, please call Sister Jean at 603-882-1088. Breakfast - The Pledge Group of Nashua Assembly No. 9, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, serves breakfast at the Temple from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m. on the third Sunday of each month. The next breakfast will be held on October 15th. The cost is $4.00, and everyone is invited. Rainbow Pledge Group meets the first Thursday of the month, with the next meeting scheduled for November 2nd. Nashua Assembly No. 9, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. Because of a scheduling conflict at the Masonic Temple, the second October meeting will be held on the second Thursday, October 12th, with an initiation scheduled. The November meetings will be held on November 2nd and 16th. Nashua Masonic Family Directory - The 2000 edition is still available at a cost of $2.00 per copy. Please contact Sister Lisa J. Markarian, P.M., for your copy. Sister Lisa can be reached at 603-672-6976. Beverage Tabs continue to be collected by Nashua Assembly for donation to the Shriners' Hospitals. Rainbow Charity Project - Nonperishable food items, paper goods and toiletries are being collected by Nashua Assembly for donation to the Nashua Pastoral Care Center and the Nashua Soup Kitchen.
