Dear Sisters and Brothers:
You are cordially invited to attend
the stated meeting on Friday, November 25th, 2005 at 7:30pm,
for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting and transacting
any business that may legally come before the Chapter. Sister
Officers may wear colored gowns to the meeting.
Collation:
Under the direction of Sister Gail F. Brown, assisted by Sisters
Nancy J. Molnar and Jackie Poisson. November refreshments will
be provided by our Brothers.
By-Laws:
Hopefully you have all had a chance to read through and review
the proposed changes to our By-Laws, as recommended by the By-Law
Committee, which was mailed to each member in October under separate
cover. We will be discussing and voting upon this issue at our
November meeting. If passed, our changes will be submitted to
Grand Chapter for their approval.
Congratulations:
Congratulations are extended to Sister Katherine M. Peringer
who was installed as Electa in Sawhegenit #52 in Bristol, and
Sister Phyllis A. Lackie, PM who was installed as Esther in Ransford-Adah
#3 in Derry .
Hurricane Katrina Relief: At the request of our Most Worthy Grand Matron,
all members of the Order of the Eastern Star are encouraged to
make a personal "Love Gift" to aid victims of the recent
deadly Hurricane Katrina storm. Your contribution can be designated
to one of the following relief organizations: The National Red
Cross, Habitat for Humanity, or the General Grand Chapter funds
in either Alabama, Louisiana, or Mississippi. Please send your
donations to our Secretary, Sister Jean C. Sudsbury, PM.

The Rainbow Girls are taking orders once again for Krispy Kreme
doughnuts for the price of $6.00/dozen. Please contact Leslee
Steele or any one of the Rainbow girls to place your order by
November 17`h.. Delivery of your order will be November 26`h
at the Holiday Stroll.
Rainbow Pledge Group
Pledge Mom, Sister Sharon M. Jackson (598-2682) and the Pledge
girls are actively looking for new members. Please call Mom Sherry
if you know of a girl age 8-11 years old who would like to join.
OES Breakfast to benefit Rainbow

The next breakfast will be held on Sunday, November 20th, 2005
from 7:30-10:30 AM. Everyone is invited. All proceeds this month
will go towards the activities of the Pledge girls.
Sickness and Distress: Thoughts and
prayers are requested for Sister Helen K. Bemis (Gerry) who is
currently residing in Greenbriar Nursing Home.

On behalf of the officers of Pilgrim Chapter #55, Brother John
and I, wish to extend a sincere thank you to all who attended
and assisted at our Installation. You all made it a truly special
evening. To Sister Shelley and Brother Larry, thank you so much
for such a memorable year. We have very big shoes to fill and
we wish you much success in your future endeavors. Brother John
and I are very much looking forward to serving the members of
Pilgrim Chapter this new year. We wish to thank you all for your
good wishes and unending support.
As we quickly begin approaching the
holiday season, may you celebrate His abundant goodness with
the spirit of Thanksgiving to fill your hearts with happiness,
friendship and family.
