Irene Prevost and Sister Cindy Stephens who are recovering from surgery. Thank You: Thank You!! To all Pilgrim members who assisted in collation for Installation in October. What a fun night! Rehearsal: There will be rehearsals for officers November 10 and November 17, both at 6:30 p.m. Learning Center Collection and Sign-Up Forms: Please bring in any of the following: pencils, pencil grips, pencil erasers, dry erase markers, scotch tape, or pens. The center is in need of these items on a regular basis. There is a box in the lobby where you can place these items. A sign-up sheet is available to all who can assist in answering phones at the Learning Center Monday-Thursday from 2:30-5:30. We only need to assist a short number of days because of the vacation and holiday schedule, so let's help them out, as they are helping others! Thank you! These are ongoing service projects of Sister Lisa and Brother Ray. Cancelled Postage Stamps and Pins: Sister Charlotte Callahan continues to collect cancelled stamps from envelopes to benefit the MS Society. Please remember to save these and bring to her at the next meeting. Also, Sister Charlotte has pins available that benefit the Leukemia Society. She is fundraising in honor of her grandson, Nathan, who suffers from this devastating disease. The cost of the pins is $6.00. Suppers: Thank you to everyone who helped prepare and serve the suppers this fall. Many hands make light work, and your efforts were greatly appreciated. Nashua Assembly #9, IORG Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00 PM. The next meetings will be Thursday, November 21st when the Masons from Manchester visit, and December 5th which will be Initiation. Come support our lovely Rainbow Girls! Rainbow Pledge Group meets the first Thursday of the month at 7 pm. under the direction of Pledge Mom, Sister Sherry M. Jackson (598-2682). They are actively looking for new members; please call Mom Sherry if you know of a girl age 8-11 years old who would like to join. The next meeting is December 5th. Beverage Tabs continue to be collected by Nashua Assembly #9 for donation to the Shriner's Hospitals. OES Breakfast to benefit Rainbow and Pledge The next breakfast will be held on Sunday, November 17th, from 7:30-10am. The donation is $5.00, and everyone is invited. All proceeds go to the Rainbow/Pledge girls projects. WANTED: Used OES Ceremonies Books, Poems and Prose Books, Eastern Star Informational Booklets, etc. to start a lending library to be used by officers and members of Pilgrim Chapter. At Grand Chapter this past August, it was voted and approved that all members in good standing in The Order of the Eastern Star, New Hampshire jurisdiction, would be able to cast votes at all subsequent NH Grand Chapter meetings. Special Session of Grand Chapter, December 7, 2002, in Holderness at 10 a.m. on Revised Constitution. Snow date is December 14. All may vote on this matter.
