November 2000
Dear Sisters and Brothers:
You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on
Friday. November 24, 2000, at 7:30 PM, for the purpose of receiving
petitions, balloting and transacting any business that may legally
come before the chapter. Sister Officers may wear colored gowns.
This meeting is being sponsored by our Brothers.
Rehearsal of Officers - will be held on Sunday, November
19, at 6 PM. This is especially important for those who are going
into a new position.
Refreshments - will be under the direction of Sister Joan
L. Smith, assisted by Sisters Jackie Poisson and Nancy Molnar.
Our Worthy Patron is this month's off icer in charge. They would
appreciate vour assistance when requested, or volunteer to help
for a specific date if you would like.
Thinking of You - Sisters Olive E. Bragdon, Marjorie H.
O'Neal, Gladys C. Will, P. M., Virginia M.Jennings, Jackie J.
Cole and Jeannette L. Healey, P. M. are at home feeling less
than chipper and could use some encouragement. Since our crystal
ball fell and broke, and our ESP is out of tune at the moment,
are ill, in the hospital or have just suffered a loss that we
should know about, so that we can be with you to lighten your
sorrow, PLEASE - call or have a loved one or friend call to let
your Worthy Matron, Worthy Patron or Secretary know. We cannot
act in a timely manner if we haven't been notified. It sometimes
takes weeks for the information to trickle to someone who can
act on it. We really want to be there for you! We do want to
show you that we care, so let us know! Thanks!
Sympathy is extended to Sister Frances M. Pollock on the loss
of her husband, and Sister E. Marie Palmer on the loss of her
sister.
