How God created mother

God took the fragrance of a ower,
The majesty of a tree,
The gentleness of morning dew,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The beauty of a twilight hour,
The soul of a starry night
The laughter of the rippling brook,
The grace of a bird in flight,
Then God fashioned from these things
A creation like no other,
And when His masterpiece was through,
He called it simply...MOTHER.

From the East

First, I wish all mothers a Happy Mother's Day! Of all of the titles I have held in my life, "mother" ranks right up at the top as the one of which I am most proud.

I encourage all members of our chapter and visitors, especially those who were unable to attend our Visitation, to attend our May meeting when we will be initiating a new member. I hope to see you all soon.

With much fraternal love,
