Sister Officers may wear colored gowns to the meeting. Collation - Collation is under the direction of Sister Lisa K. Hollis, A.M., assisted by Sisters Nancy J. Molnar and Jacqueline E. Poisson. Congratulations - Congratulations are extended to Sister B. Judith Fenner, P.G.M. who was recently installed as Worthy Matron of Masona Chapter #134 in S. Dennis, MA. Also to the following Sisters who took part in the Star Point Ceremony at her installation: Narrator - Susan I. Douglas, P.M., Adah - Lisa F. Britko, P.M., Ruth - Linda A. Sympathy - The sympathy of the chapter is extended to: Sister Lisa M. Russell on the loss of her father, Sister Elsie G. Marshall, P.M. on the loss of her sister - our Sister Ruth J. Morrill, P.M., and to Brother William R. Whitney on the loss of his sister. Sister Harryatt Descoteaux Initiated: January 10, 1939 in Castlepoint #37, Hoboken, NJ Demitted & Affiliated: December 28, 1979 Passed away: April 17, 2007 A 68 year member Initiated: March 22, 1939 Worthy Matron of Pilgrim Chapter: 1949 Passed away: April 22, 2007 A 68 year member Sister Bessie G. Theros Initiated: October 26, 1956 Passed away: April 23, 2007 A 51 year member OES Breakfast to benefit Rainbow Pledge - There will not be a breakfast this month. The next breakfast will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2007 from 7:30-10:30am for a $6 donation. Everyone is invited, and all proceeds go toward the activities of the Pledge girls. Nashua Assembly #9, IORG - Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00pm. All Eastern Star members are welcome to attend any Rainbow meeting or event. The next meeting will be on Thursday, May 17, 2007. Please come and support our future! Rainbow Pledge Group - The Pledge girls are actively looking for new members! Please call Sister Sharon M. From the East - Happy Father's Day to all of our Dads! Enjoy your day! We will have a special guest at our May meeting for our Mothers. Please come and join us! As I listen to the birds chirping outside my window, the kids playing at the neighborhood park, and the ice cream truck's melody from down the street, I'm reminded of just how much beauty there is around us, if we take the time to notice it. Try to take a few minutes to appreciate some of the beauty that abounds around us. It may not always be apparent, but it is there!
