You are cordially invited to attend the early stated
meeting on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 5:00pm for the purpose of
receiving petitions, balloting, initiation, and transacting any
business that may legally come before the Chapter. Sister Officers,
please wear white gowns for the latter meeting. Collation: Under the direction of Sister Lois A. Taylor, A.M., assisted by Sisters Judy A. Porter and Jacqueline E Poisson and Brother Norman J. Poisson. The Official Visitation of the Worthy Grand Matron accompanied by the Worthy Grand Patron and assisted by the Grand Marshal will begin at 7:30pm. Honored guests for the evening are Brother Jeffrey L. Brown, P.P., Worthy Grand Patron; Sister Shelley M. Gullett, P.M., Associate Grand Matron; Brother John W. Jackson, P.P., Associate Grand Patron; Brother David C. Thompson Jr., P.G.P., Grand Treasurer; and Sister Pamella A. Taylor, P.M., Grand Electa for the Grand Chapter of NH, and Sister Lorraine E Thompson, P.G.M., Special Appointment for Service Dogs Project; Brother Frank H Fenner, P.G.P., Special Appointment as Deputy to Bolivia; and Brother Walter G Chapman, P.G.P., GGCCM on Charters for General Grand Chapter. Sickness and Distress: Brother Robert Norton, P.G.P., is still inpatient at Concord Hospital and could use cards and well wishes; Sister Elaine Strand is doing better but still could use well wishes; Sister Sandra Libby is recovering at home after recent knee surgery; and Sister Lois A. Taylor, and Brothers Jay C. Taylor and Matthew E. Cousins lost their home in the windstorm that occurred on February 25. Thankfully they were not injured but will not be able to return to their house anytime soon. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Sympathy is extended to Brother Roland Petersen whose mother passed away last month. Nashua Assembly #9 I.O.R.G.:
Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month
at 7:00 pm. OES members are encouraged to attend any event. The
next meetings are March 18 and April 1. The girls will be doing
a mock initiation at their April 1 meeting. Rainbow Sparkles & Pledge Group: Meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month at 7pm. Please call Sisters Sharon M. Jackson, P.M., Pledge Mom at 603-598-2682 or Sister Stacy M. Desrosiers P.M. at 579-0519 if you know of a girl between 6-11 years old who would like to join Pledges, or a girl between 4-6 years old who would like to join Sparkles. If anyone wishes to help out as a ‘guest advisor’ for the evening Sisters Sherry and Stacy would love your help! Many hands make light work! Visitation Preparation:
Please bring in all Huggables (new stuffed animals with tags
still on them) for our visitation. We are also still looking
for a person to chair the Chapter quilting project for the WGM/WGP
Quilting Project. Please see the Worthy Matron for details. Directory: The new edition of the 2009 Nashua Masonic Family Directory is now available at a bargain price of $3.00. It is also available on CD at a cost of $2.00. Contact Sister Lisa J.M. Proulx, P.M. if you would like one at 603-673-2452 Polo Shirts: Sister Lois A. Taylor is selling embroidered Polo Shirts with the OES emblem and Pilgrim Chapter #55. The cost of these shirts is $20.00. Please contact Sister Lois at 603-377-6877 if you are interested in purchasing one. Murder Mystery Dinner Night: This is our fundraiser to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Our own members of the Chapter will be performing in what will become an interesting evening. The date is Friday, April 30 in Nashua. Cost is $25 per person or $40 per couple. We will be having a Prime Rib dinner. Reservations with payment need to be made to either Jennifer A Taylor WM, or Jeffrey L Brown WP.
