Silently, one by one, in the infinite meadows of heaven

blossom the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of the angels.

Congratulations: to our new members who were initiated last month - Sisters Lisa K. Hollis, Deborah A. Wall, Donna L. Betz, and Cindy A. Stephens. Word has just reached us that Sister Joyce E. Brady is now serving as Electa at her new Chapter in Barstow, Ca. Sister Marylyn M. Young was chosen to carry the Olympic Torch after being nominated for her years of service at McDonald’s here in Nashua. Her leg of the relay was in York, Maine on December 28th.

Thinking of you: Sister Dorothy A. Durfee recently moved into the Hunt Community. Sister Katherine Jo Drown continues to recuperate at home after hip surgery. Sister Patricia B. Anthony and Brother James A. Brady have been feeling a bit under the weather at home.

Watchword:

HOPE

In the darkest hour, there comes a light to those who sit in darkness,

and a new hope to those, who in the quiet hour,

will unburden their heavy load and ask for strength and guidance.

It is wonderful calmness bringing peace and rest to the weary,

and a new strength to meet the new day unafraid.

“Ask, and ye shall receive” – it is that simple.

From the East – We hope your holidays were joyous and peaceful, and that you have entered into the New Year with a renewed spirit of commitment to those things near and dear to your hearts. As we start our New Year in this Chapter, let us all renew our promise to serve the Chapter, its members, and our community to the best of our abilities.

With Fraternal Love
