Dear Sisters and Brothers:

You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 7:30 pm, for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting, and transacting any business that may legally come before the Chapter. Sister Officers may wear colored gowns.

This is our Annual Awards Night. We will be celebrating our 25, 50, 60, 65, and 70 year members as well as recognizing our Past Matrons and Patrons. Anagnost, Frances M. Pollock, F. Louise Rasmussen P.M., Martha A. Spaulding; 65 Years: Jeannette L. Healey, P.M., Josephine Millett; 70 Years: Edna E. Dooley. We look forward to meeting and greeting our Sisters and Brothers and thanking them for their years of service at this meeting.

Special Meeting: We will be holding a special meeting at Pilgrim Chapter #55 this summer for the purpose of Initiation, on Friday, July 22nd at 7:30pm. All are welcome to attend.

Congratulations to our Masonic brethren, and members of our Chapter, who participated as officers at the annual meeting of Grand Lodge and/or who were recently installed into offices in Grand Lodge: Brothers C. Wayne Libby, Jr., Robert G. Bianchi, Brian J. Smith, Robert S. Bean, III, Larry D. Gullett, Jack L. Caynon; to Brother Paul M. Leary, P.G.P. from the 1997-98 Natural Wonders year, who was installed as the Most Worshipful Grand Master in NH in May; to the following Brothers who took offices in Scottish Rite at their annual installation: C. Wayne Libby, Jr., Brian J. Smith, Jeffrey L. Brown, Robert G. Bianchi, Robert M. Porter, Jr., Robert S. Bean, III, Dennis Webster, John W. Jackson, Richard J. Thompson, Davis K. Bryant, G. Raymond Palmer, and John G. Senter; to Brother Larry D. Gullett who was awarded the Jeremy Ladd Cross Award; to Brother Guy R. Martineau who was awarded the Maj. General John Sullivan Award, and to Rising Sun Lodge #39, which was awarded the Grand Masters Award at the recent convocation of Grand Lodge in NH; to Sister B Judith Fenner, PGM who was presented with a Grand Representative appointment to Bolivia in New Hampshire at our May meeting; and to Sister Bethany L Maynard who welcomed little Phoebe Leighann into her life on June 8, and to proud grandmother is Sister Linda A. Maynard, P.M., and Aunt Sister Jillian Maynard.

Sickness and Distress: Well wishes are extended to Brother Richard I. Poole, Sr., P.G.P., who had a recent toe amputation but is on the mend; to Sister Nancy J. Molnar who had a recent accident and is home recuperating but is on the mend.

Grand Chapter of NH: On August 25-27, 2011, the 121st Heart and Soul Grand Chapter of NH session will be held at the Center of NH in Manchester. All members are cordially invited to attend as our own Sister Shelley and Brother John preside over the sessions. Registration is $7.00 and can be pre-paid; Registration, Banquet, and Housing information can be obtained by visiting the website at www.nheasternstar.org. Deadlines are coming up soon! NH Grand Assembly: You are all cordially invited to attend the 71st Roll out the Red Carpet Grand Assembly sessions on July 1-3, 2011 at the Nashua Marriott. Please contact Sister Joan L Smith, P.M., Secretary, or Sister Tracey L. Thompson, Coordinator of Grand Assembly, for further information regarding this weekend long event.

Yard Sale for the Service Dogs Project: We will be having a giant Yard Sale on June 26 from 9am to 2pm the grounds of Gate City Monument at 321 West Hollis St in Nashua. Please start collecting all those items you have in your homes that you wish to donate and bring them to Sister Pam Williams on that morning. If you have items but cannot attend call or email Sister Pam at (603)888-4652.

Masonic Family Day at Strawbery Banke: July 9 in Portsmouth. The Lodge at the William Pitt Tavern opens at 9:30am. Come join in and enjoy the fun, food, and fellowship with our members of Masonic Fraternities. Your dues card will get you and your family in the entrance. All fraternal bodies will have information tables at the event, and volunteers are needed to help with crowd control, CHIPs event, set up of tables, and clean up. Please contact the Secretary, or Brothers Brian Smith or Bob Bean, for further information if you would like to assist with this event.
