Dear Sisters and Brothers,

You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on Friday, June 26th, 2009 at 7:30 pm, for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting, and transacting any business that may legally come before the Chapter. Sister Officers may wear colored gowns. Per our Bylaws, the Finance Committee will make recommendations for dues for 2010 at this meeting, to be voted on at our annual meeting in September.

This is our Annual Awards night, honoring 25-, 50-, and 60-year members and issuing Rob Morris Awards to those members qualified. Those receiving recognition for their many years of membership in our Order are as follows: 60-years: Grace J. DiMatteo, PM, Arleen W. Osborn, PM, Edythe L Spencer; 50-years: Elizabeth C. Annis, Beverly F. Burleigh, PM, Judith S. Bausha, Mae F. Cable, Albert C Dudley, PP, Sandra G. Dudley, PM, Sandra J. Linton; 25-years: Norman E. Hall.

Collation is under the direction of Sister Jennifer Taylor, AM, assisted by Sister Jacqueline E. Poisson, Sister Judy A. Porter, and Brother Norman J. Poisson.

Monthly Donations/ARK Service Project: The ARK box this month will collect items useful to the Veterans, homeless, animals, and children starting school. Let's fill it to the top! Thank you so very much for helping these needy people.

Sickness and Distress: Sister Beverly Burleigh, PM, and Brother Gilbert Bemis, PP, were recently in the hospital; Sister Sharon Jackson has been under the weather; Brother David C. Thompson, Jr., PGP and Brother Hal Chase, WGP, also need some get well wishes. Please continue to keep all these Sisters and Brothers in thoughts and prayers.

Congratulations to Brother Gerald K. Classon who was recently installed as Worshipful Master of Harmony Lodge in Hillsboro. Congratulations to the following Brothers who were installed at the Grand Lodge installation on May 16: C. Wayne Libby, Most Worshipful Grand Master, Robert G. Bianchi, W. Secretary to the Grand Master, Brian J. Smith, R.W. Grand Chaplain, Robert S. Bean III, W. Grand Steward, Larry D. Gullett, R.W. District Deputy Grand Master, and Jack L. Caynon Jr., W. District Education Officer; to Brother Mark A. Marden, PP, who received his 50-year certificate, Brother G. Raymond Palmer who received his 40-year certificate, and Brothers Gary A. Gahan and Randy S. McMullen who both received their 25-year certificates, all members from Rising Sun Lodge #39; a huge congratulations to Brother Dennis Webster who received the Major General John Sullivan Award for his distinguished service in Rising Sun Lodge #39. We also congratulate the following Brothers who recently were installed as heads of NH Consistory, Scottish Rite Bodies in NH: Brother Robert G. Bianchi, Commander in Chief, Brother Robert S. Bean III, Thrice Potent Master, and Brother Guy R. Martineau, Sovereign Prince, and the many Brothers of our Chapter who were installed in various offices of the Scottish Rite bodies. Best wishes to Sister Ellen M Morrill, PM, who is engaged to Brother Donald Risley, a member of PCTA #29.

NH Grand Chapter is coming up August 20-22th in Manchester NH, and all members are invited to attend. Many hands will be needed to prepare for sessions. Sister Shelley Gullett, PM, needs assistance to make items for the Craft Table (see dates below). Sister Ellie Morrill, PM, needs assistance with the Grand Representatives Hospitality Room, with refreshments or hosting.

Our Chapter must assist with the Reception after Installation at the hotel and the formal Reception of Grand Officers on August 29th in Rochester with Brother Jeffrey Brown as WGP. Sister Joan Smith is Chair from our Chapter for the Reception on August 29th and needs assistance with that event. We need a volunteer to Chair the Reception directly after Installation in the Hospitality Room. They will organize needed materials and have volunteers ready to help in the room. If you would like to help, please call the Secretary.

Nashua Assembly #9, IORG, Rainbow Pledge Group and Sparkles meet on the first and third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. Their next meeting is June 18th when they will be exemplifying Installation of Officers. The Pledge and Sparkle group will be having their Annual Awards Night on June 18th.
You are cordially invited to attend the Grand Assembly sessions on July 3rd - 5th where our own Sister Allyson J. Britko will preside as Grand Worthy Advisor. If you know of any young girl age 4-11 who is interested in joining Pledge, or 11-20 who is interested in joining Nashua Rainbow, please contact Sister Sherry Jackson, Pledge Mom at 598-2682 or Sister Stacy M. OES Breakfast to benefit Rainbow Pledges will be held on Sunday, June 21st from 7:30-10:30am. Cost is $7.00. Everyone is invited. All proceeds will go towards the activities of the Pledge girls.
