What Makes a Dad

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's ight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,

The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it ... DAD

From the East

Because our February 2008 meeting had to be cancelled due to bad weather, I want to remind you all of our make-up meeting to be held Friday, July 25, 2008.

Don't forget about the New & Renewed Member BBQ on June 15. Your admission to this fun event is to bring a new member or a member who has not been to a meeting in a year or two. You, and they, will learn some "whys, hows, and why nots" of Eastern Star from the great "Whydini." I hope to see you all there.

With much fraternal love,
