Cookbook - We are currently collecting recipes and advertisements to be published in a cookbook which will be a fundraiser for the Chapter. A list of guidelines is enclosed with this months bulletin. Cookbooks will also be pre-sold for $10 each. Please send your favorite recipes, ads, and orders for cookbooks to Sister Gail.

These are the guidelines regarding recipe submission from the publishing company:

  • List all ingredients in the order of use in both the ingredients list and directions.
  • Abbreviate measurements in the ingredients list using standard abbreviations (see below).
  • Include container sizes (e.g. 8-oz can).
  • Write directions in paragraph form, not in steps.
  • Use names of ingredients in directions (e.g. "Combine flour and sugar"). Do not use statements like "Combine first three ingredients".
Include temperatures and cooking, chilling, baking and/or freezing times.
  • Anything other than ingredients, directions, contributor name, serving size and recipe title will be included as a Recipe Note.
  • Please double-check your recipes for accuracy (I may not know if something is left out).
