Pilgrim Chapter No. 55 Order of the Eastern Star Include List

Dear Sisters and Brothers:
You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on Friday, December 22, 2006 at 7:30pm, for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting and transacting any business that may legally come before the Chapter. Sister Officers may wear colored gowns to the meeting.

Collation - Collation is under the direction of Sister Lisa K. Hollis, A.M., assisted by Sisters Nancy J. Molnar and Jacqueline E. Poisson. During collation this month, we will celebrate the holidays with an ornament swap. Please bring a wrapped ornament to join the celebration.

Congratulations - Congratulations are extended to Sister Tracey L. Thompson who was recently installed as Associate Matron of Ruth Chapter #16 in Manchester. Congratulations are also extended to Sister Bonnie L. Carbary, W.G.M. who was the Installing Grand Matron and to Sister Shelley M. Gullett, Grand Marshal who was the Installing Grand Marshal at the installation of Olive Branch Chapter # 1 in Lancaster. Also, congratulations are extended to Brother David C. Thompson, Jr., P.G.P. who was the Installing Past Grand Patron and to Sister Lorraine E. Thompson, Associate Grand Matron who was the Installing Past Grand Marshal at the following installations: Calvin-Topliff Chapter #18 in North Conway, Corinthian-Queen Esther Chapter #23 in Kingston, Orient Chapter #22 in Exeter, Portia-Henocon-Asteria Chapter #14 in Hillsboro, and Puritan-Charity-Themis-Atlantic Chapter #29 in Milford. Brother David C. Thompson, Jr., P.G.P. was the Installing Past Grand Patron and Sister Pamela G. Williams, Deputy Grand Marshal was the Installing Past Grand Marshal at the installation of Salem Chapter # 56. Sister Lorraine E. Thompson, Associate Grand Matron was the Installing Grand Marshall at the installation of James Farrington-Pleiades Chapter #7 in Rochester, Ruth Chapter #16 in Manchester, and Ionic-Ragged Mountain Chapter #20 in Franklin.

Congratulations are also extended to Brother Larry D. Gullett, P.P. who was recently awarded the Major General John Sullivan award in Bronze, and to Brother Brian J. Smith, P.P. who was awarded the Major General John Sullivan award in Silver by the M.W.G.M., David J. Lamprey.

Sympathy - The sympathy of the chapter is extended to Brother Ronald Carbary on the loss of his mother.

Sickness & Distress - Sister Edith Holmes is recuperating nicely from her recent knee surgery. Sister Beverly Burleigh, P.M. had a recent hospital stay, but is now at home. Calls, prayers and cards would be much appreciated.

Nashua Assembly #9, IORG - Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00pm. All Eastern Star members are welcome to attend any Rainbow meeting or event. The next meeting will be on Thursday, January 4, 2007. Please come and support our future!

Rainbow Pledge Group - The Pledge girls are actively looking for new members! Please call Sister Sharon M. Jackson, Pledge Mom at 598-2682 if you know of a girl between 8 & 11 years old who would like to join.

OES Breakfast to benefit Rainbow Pledge - The next breakfast will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2007 from 7:30-10:30 AM for a $5 donation. Everyone is invited, and all proceeds go towards the activities of the Pledge girls.

Dues - Based upon the recommendation of our Finance Committee, it was voted at our annual meeting in September, that the dues for 2007 be $10 per person. If your dues are not remitted by the chapter, your dues notice is included with this bulletin.

By-Laws - Our by-laws were updated by vote of the Chapter at our 2005 Annual Meeting. Included with this month's bulletin is a current copy.

2006 Nashua Masonic Directory - The new Nashua Masonic Directory is available for purchase at $2 per copy. Please contact Sister Lisa J. Proulx, P.M., at 673-2452 if you are interested in obtaining a copy.
