April 2010 Dear Sisters and Brothers: You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 7:30pm for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting, and transacting any business that may legally comebefore the Chapter. Sister Officers may wear colored gowns. COLLATION: is under the direction of Sister Lois A. Taylor, A.M. and assisted by Sisters Judy A. Porter and Jacquieline E. Poisson and Brother Norman J. Poisson. Congratulations to Sisters Nikia A. Quesnel, Cassandra M. Choi, Janet L. Thompson and Brother Richard J. Thompson who were initiated and affiliated at our official Visitation in March; and to Sister Denise Marie McIntosh who was elected as bar liaison, and fundraising and publicity chair for the Paralegal .Association of NH Sickness and Distress: Bro. Robert Norton P.G.P., is now recuperating at home; Sisters Jeannette Healey and Elsie Durkee were both in the Hospital recently and could use well wishes. Sister Sandi Libbby continues improvement at home after having knee surgery; and Sisters Susan Douglas, PM., Ruth J. Holmes, PM, Leslee E. Steele and Brother Frank H. Fenner Jr. P.G.P, have all been a little under the weather and could use cards of good cheer. Nashua Assembly #9 I.O.R.G.: Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00pm. OES Members are encouraged to attend every event. The mext meetings are April 15 and May 6th. The girls are preparing for a live initiation at the May 6th Meeting. Rainbow Pledge and Sparkle Group: The pledges girls are actively looking for new members! Please call Sisters Sharon M. Jackson P.M. at 603-598-2682' or Sister Stacy M. Desrosiers, PM., Pledge Mom 579-05190 if you know of a girl between 6 and 11 years old who would like to join. Our Sparkles - a group hit girls age 4-6 years old also meet at that time. This is our major fundraiser for our charity this year the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Our own members of the Chapter will be performing in what will become an interesting evening. The date is Friday April 30 in Nashua. Cost is $25.00 per person or $40 per couple. Checks can be made out to Pilgrim Chapter No. 55. We will be having a Prime Rib dinner. From the East: First and foremost, I would like to congratulate the officers and members who made our visitation this past month FANTASTIC. As Brother Jeff said in his comments, from soup to nuts it was a wonderful evening. I honestly can not thank you enough for your hard work and support. April brings us to our Murder Mystery Dinner! Brother Jeff and I have been working hard with our Pilgrim Chapter Players and we promise you an evening you will never forget. Please, if you haven't RSVP'd there still is time!
