April 2007 Dear Sisters and Brothers: You are cordially invited to attend the stated meeting on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 7:30pm, for the purpose of receiving petitions, balloting, and transacting any business that may legally come before the Chapter. Sister Officers may wear colored gowns to the meeting. We will be honoring our Past Matrons and Past Patrons this month. Collation - Collation is under the direction of Sister Lisa K. Hollis, A.M., assisted by Sisters Nancy J. Molnar and Jacqueline E. Poisson. Welcome - A warm welcome is extended to our newest member, Michael S. Henry. We hope that you will join us often. Heart Walk - The Central NH Heart Walk will be on Sunday, May 6, 2007. We are looking for people who are willing to volunteer a few hours that morning (what time will depend on the task you choose). Please contact Sister Gail or Brother Jeff for more information, or to sign up. Cookbook - Calling all cooks! Please don't forget to share your favorite recipes for our Cookbook. Recipes may be entered online at www.typensave.com. The username is pilgrim55oes, and the password is Esther. Advertising space is available at the following rates: Full Page ad: $60, Half Page ad: $35, Quarter Page ad: $20, 1/6 page ad: $15, Name listing: $5. Cookbooks are being pre-sold for $10 each. Please contact Sister Gail with recipes, orders, or any questions. Nashua Assembly #9, IORG - Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:00pm. All Eastern Star members are welcome to attend any Rainbow meeting or event. The next meeting will be on Thursday, April 19, 2007. Please come and support our future! Rainbow Pledge Group - The Pledge girls are actively looking for new members! Please call Sister Sharon M. Jackson, Pledge Mom at 598-2682 if you know of a girl between 8 & 11 years old who would like to join. OES Breakfast to benefit Rainbow Pledge - The next breakfast will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2007 from 7:30-10:30am for a $6 donation. Everyone is invited, and all proceeds go toward the activities of the Pledge girls. 2006 Nashua Masonic Directory - The Nashua Masonic Directory is available for purchase at $2 per copy. From the East - Spring is here! Or it was until Old Man Winter came back for a visit. Soon the snow will melt (again!), the birds will be back on their perches singing, the flowers will bloom, and the Maple trees will bud and form their lacy veil over the streets. Mother's Day is just around the corner, and we would like to wish all of our Mothers a very happy day. We would also like to thank everyone who made our Official Visitation such a huge success. The adage about many hands making light work is certainly true, and so apparent here in Pilgrim Chapter. We are deeply indebted to all who contributed to the Chapter's success that evening. Enjoy the rebirth of nature
around us this season, and always take time to "Love one
